This section covers brief descriptions for the exterior and interior features of WaveRIDER® NL 2.
External features:
•Barrier box: This is the thermal protective barrier for the M.O.L.E. Profiler.
•Barrier locking latch: This latch secures the cover of the barrier to prevent it from opening.
•Coupon: Sensors that record temperature data from the solder machine. Refer to topic WaveRIDER® NL 2>Equipment>Coupon for additional information.
Internal Features:
•Connector bridge: This is where the M.O.L.E. Profiler plugs into the WaveRIDER® NL 2 so it can collect data from the pallet sensors.
•Extractor handle: This handle assists in the removal of the M.O.L.E. Profiler.
•Configuration Plug: This plug was included with original WaveRIDER® pallets prior to the release of the WaveRIDER® NL 2 model. This configuration plug configures the "Xpert Ready" SuperM.O.L.E.™ Gold Profiler to operate in “WaveRIDER” mode. It is not required when using WaveRIDER® NL 2 model pallets with the SuperM.O.L.E.™ Gold & SuperM.O.L.E.™ Gold 2 Profilers. Refer to topic Configuration Plug for additional information.
